One of the best things about ABC’s prime-time drama Revenge is that (besides it’s chills and thrills) the show boasts some of the hottest actors around.
With Valentine’s Day upon us I have taken the liberty of doing a Top 5 Hunks and Babes Of Revenge (you can see the Hunks version by clicking here). This post will give you my insight on the delicious women on the show and what I predict their perfect Valentine’s Day presents and dates to be. Revenge-lovers, I hope you enjoy this tasty little treat I have concocted for you for your Valentine’s Day.
Amanda Clarke, played by ‘Margarita Levieva’ |
When she entered Revenge in 1.07 ‘Charade’, it was as scorching pole dancer/stripper Emily Thorne. The brunette beauty had a sketchy past, with tales of an abusive father and time in prison. We learn that it was while she was in prison that she met Emily. The two formed an unlikely friendship – one that led Amanda to believe she needed to kill (literally) to protect Emily. You may not like her because of her attraction to Jack, but one thing no one can deny is that she’s a head-turner and she’s captured Jack’s heart (even though technically it’s under false pretences, but who’s looking?).
Best Feature:
Her luscious locks. You could cuddle a baby with that hair, it looks so soft.
Best Personality Trait:
Her fire and gusto. Granted, she killed Frank with it, but it just goes to show she’s a woman not to be messed with.
Perfect man:
Jack Porter. As much as I want Emily to be with Jack, Jack certainly brings out Amanda’s softer side. It’s nice.
Ideal Valentine’s Gift:
Lacy lingerie.
Ideal Perfect Date:
Begins flirty, moves fast and gets down and dirty. Just saying it like I see it.
Best Moment On The Show:
Episode 1.12 ‘Infamy’ when she convinces Jack to go to Atlantic City with her. Who wouldn’t go with this temptress at such an offer?
Victoria Grayson, played by ‘Madeleine Stowe’ |
It’s difficult not to love the Queen Bitch. The show wouldn’t be the same without her cunning and prowess; which is softened by her love for David Clarke and her children. At first it seems she is made of lead and cold to the touch (hence my nickname for her) but what I love about Victoria is that she is fiercely protective of her children. She has every right to divorce Conrad (in my opinion) and let’s face it, she’s hot and he isn’t (alright, perhaps a little harsh on my part. He’s very nice-looking, but nothing compared to Queen Bitch).
Best Feature:
Her smokin’ body. C’mon people, you can’t tell me you haven’t checked out this mommy’s wicked hot bod – and it’s only accentuated by her brilliant fashion sense.
Best Personality Trait:
Her attitude. That woman’s got sass, and she ain’t afraid to ditch it out when it’s given to her (just try cheating on her, would you?).
Perfect Man:
David Clarke. Sad face.
Ideal Valentine’s Gift:
Diamond earrings. Anything less would be an insult.
Ideal Perfect Date:
Starting with breakfast in bed, her perfect date would be a day under the covers spent with the one she loves.
Best Moment On The Show:
Her ‘hug of hatred’ given to Lydia in episode 1.05 ‘Guilt’. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – nobody does revenge quite like Victoria. Her icy actions are dealt with a smile, and I love it.
Ashley Davenport, played by ‘Ashley Madekwe’ |
This incredibly dazzling friend and assistant has captured both our hearts and our eyes. Ashley may sometimes be pushed out of the way for Victoria and Emily drama, but this sublime brunette most definitely deserves to be on this list. Her charm and gentle nature gains her ten points in my book, and she gains another ten for being such a great best friend to Emily. We can’t blame her for that little stunt she (almost) pulled after being toyed with by Tyler; but after her knock-back comments to Conrad in the last episode I’d say that effectively gives her a high position with the other revenge-takers.
Best Feature:
Her chocolate-brown-puppy-dog eyes. I literally melt. Amazing.
Best Personality Trait:
Her loyalty. You can’t say the girl isn’t loyal, even after having suspicions of her best friend and employer.
Perfect Man:
Nolan Ross. Just roll it around on your tongue a little – sounds nice, doesn’t it?
Ideal Valentine’s Gift:
A sophisticated clutch purse or a new pair of chic heels. The girl has style and it shouldn’t go unnoticed.
Ideal Perfect Date:
Lunch at a sweet little restaurant, followed by ice cream and a movie. Simple but thoughtful.
Best Moment On The Show:
After she catches Tyler kissing Nolan in 1.09 ‘ Suspicion’ and yells at him: “You’re a bastard!” Anyone who calls that douche a bastard is my friend forever. (Nothing against Ashton Holmes of course – he’s a brilliant actor).
Charlotte Grayson, played by ‘Christa B. Allen’ |
Christa B. Allen is the only woman who could play Charlotte, end of story. The girl is lovely, from head to toe. I have no faults with her, and she balances the show wonderfully. There are so many plots and plans and scheming and ploys happening all the time in Revenge, it’s nice to come back to this plucky, intelligent and gorgeous young woman and enjoy the relationship she has with Declan. But of course (as things never stay passive long in the Hamptons), Charlotte’s world has just been shattered by the revelation that Conrad is not her real father. I have faith she’s going to come out on the fighting side, rather than wallow.
Best Feature:
Her laugh. Conrad may be wrong about a lot of things, but he’s hit the nail on the head with this one. Charlotte’s laugh is magical and makes your heart feel like sunshine.
Best Personality Trait:
Her confidence (combined with her determination). She’s not afraid to go after what she wants (Declan, mostly) and not afraid to stand up to her mom or dad. It’s both the most refreshing and attractive thing about her.
Perfect Man:
Declan Porter.
Ideal Valentine’s Gift:
A huge bunch of red roses and a box of chocolates. I think Charlotte would be a classic Valentine’s Day lover, and would be happy to spend the day with her boy and receive the sweetest of gifts.
Ideal Perfect Date:
A day out roller skating or bowling, followed by a picnic in the park. Something exciting and adventurous.
Best Moment On The Show:
She has many wonderful moments, but in terms of couple-y cuteness, I’d have to say episode 1.12 ‘Infamy’, when she tucks Declan into his couch with a blanket. So sweet and reflects how lovely she can be.
Emily Thorne, played by ‘Emily VanCamp’ |
The woman is a goddess. From the looks and charm, to the fire and heart, to the mystery and determination. She is ruthless and diabolical, but also attentive, brilliant and beautiful. That is why she gets the number one spot on this hotties list. From one episode to the next, you never know what to expect with her. When you think she’s going to go one way with a take-down, she goes the other, and when you think “This woman might not have a soul” she goes and calls Jack and checks to see if he’s okay. Emily Thorne, you take the prize for being number one babe on Revenge.
Best Feature:
Her smile. It says a thousand words, whether curled up in the corners as a smirk, or being genuinely amused or delighted by something.
Best Personality Trait:
Her strength. She’s been through hell and back and yet still winds up on top. Even if it’s only temporary, her strength will see her through.
Perfect Man:
Jack Porter. Sorry Daniel, she belongs with him.
Ideal Valentine’s Gift:
A hand-made bracelet or trinket of some kind. Emily isn’t one who can be bought with money (though she pretends like that’s the way to her heart).
Ideal Perfect Date:
A surprise boat trip around the harbour, with dinner on board served by candlelight. However it wouldn’t be with Daniel, it’d be with Jack, and it’d end with a moonlit walk on the beach and a slow dance. Perfect evening.
Best Moment On The Show:
There are too many to count. Her first take-down, captured through Victoria; her constant bantering with Nolan; her civil (but somewhat icy) stares with Victoria; her moments with Daniel; moments with Jack. But one of my favorites has got to be when she took down Mason Treadwell’s house in 1.12 ‘Infamy’. Flames and explosions? Check. Emily’s thrillingly evil sexy smile? CHECK. Loved it.
There you have it Revenge-lovers! What do you think of this ‘babes’ list? Anyone else you would have swapped or changed?
Tune in this WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network to catch episode 1.15 ‘Chaos’.

Sorry to disagree but Emily/Amanda belongs with Daniel and not the boring bartender. Victoria and Conrad are an awesome couple while Conrad is a great and powerful man, David Clarke was a dumbass. I want to kill Declan. I would rather watch a sex video starring Conrad and Charlotte than see Charlotte with Declan.
