FOX Announces Premiere Dates For the 2013-2014 Television Season

FOX has set the fall premiere dates for its new and returning series.

FOX kicks off the 2013-2014 television with the hit musical competition series The X-Factor, which launches a two-night premiere event beginning Wednesday, September 11 at 8 PM ET/PT and Thursday, September 12 at 8 PM ET/PT. The series will be hosted by Mario Lopez, and will feature Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, and Paulina Rubio. The following week, new and returning series Bones, Sleepy Hollow, Dads, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, The Mindy Project, and Glee will premiere. From that point on, FOX will premiere more and more of its fall line-up on a weekly basis. Have trouble keeping it all straight? Sleepy Hollow TitleFOX has a lot of new series premiering this fall, and one of the most anticipated is the modern-day retelling of the classic Washington Irving story Sleepy Hollow. In this new series (premieres Monday, September 16th at 9PM), Ichabod Crane is resurrected from the dead 250 years later to discover he’s humanities last hope for survival. Crane teams up with a local police officer to unravel the mystery of why he’s returned tat dates back to the founding fathers. Not everything premiering this fall is all doom and gloom. On Tuesday, September 17th two new comedies will premiere.

Dads is a new live-action comedy from Emmy Award winner Seth MacFarlane, Alec Sulkin, and Wellesley Wild that stars Emmy Award winner Seth Green and Emmy Award nominee Giovanni Ribisi. These two childhood friends lives get turned upside down when their fathers (Martin Mull and Peter Riegert) move in with them. Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Emmy Award winners Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher, and is written and produced by Emmy Award winners Dan Goor and Michael Schur. This new comedy is about what happens when hotshot detective gets a new captain with a lot to prove.

Almost Human UpFronts 2013 TitleLater this fall on Monday, November 4th at 8 PM ET/PT, the futuristic drama Almost Human premieres. This new series is brought to you by Emmy Award winner J.J. Abrams and J.H. Wyman, and stars Karl Urban and Michael Ealy. This action drama is set 35 years in the future when human police officers are partnered will humanoid androids. An unlikely partnership is formed when a cop who is part machine is forced to partner with a robot who is part human. Together they will fight crime.
