ABC Ratings: “Revenge” & “Betrayal” Have Double-Digit Increases While “Once Upon a Time” Holds Steady
ABC’s Sunday Lineup Continues To Rise Despite Increasing Competition
ABC’s Sunday night lineup is always jam-packed; starting with Once Upon a Time at 8pm before Revenge at 9pm and rookie series Betrayal at 10pm. In a competitive television market, it’s often difficult to maintain a steady viewership, and even harder to increase that viewership. But according to the latest Nielsen Company ratings, both Revenge and Betrayal posted double-digit increases in Adults 18-49 on Sunday 17 November, while Once Upon a Time retained its audience with a small growth in Teens 12-17.

America’s Funniest Home Videos, also on Sunday nights at 7pm, built to match a season high in Adults 18-49, with 6.6 million viewers and 1.4/4 in AD 18-49. The show was up 8% week to week in Adults 18-49. Once Upon a Time also retained 6.6 million viewers and 1.9/5 in AD 18-49, and against Fox’s Almost Human surged 36% over its lead-in with young adults. Once retained its 100% week to week in Women 18-49 and went up 7% in Teens 12-17. It continues to rank as Sunday’s most-social broadcast series, with a total of 63,941 tweets, up 13% from the previous week’s episode.
Revenge grew in Total Viewers by 5% over the previous week, and by 15% in Adults 18-49. It had a total of 5.8 million viewers and 1.5/4 in AD 18-49. Betrayal, on the other hand, built week to week by 6% in Total Viewers and by 13% in Adults 18-49, with a total of 3.4 million viewers and 0.9/2 in AD 18-49. Hopefully the shows’ viewership will continue to increase when Revenge, Betrayal and Once Upon a Time return in 3 weeks.
