Jason Momoa Reported To Play Aquaman In ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’

Khal Drogo is the new Aquaman – but for real this time?!

According to reports from Hitfix, Jason Mamoa (Game of Thrones) will be playing Aquaman in the new Batman. It’s important to note that Warner Bros. hasn’t officially released a casting press release confirming this, we consider Hitfix, Drew McWeeny to be a credible source.

While Warner Bros. hasn’t made that announcement officially yet, HitFix can confirm that he will be playing the part, and that Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon.

What’s hilarious is that mid-May Comicbook had reported on the rumors about Jason Momoa being in the Batman Vs. Superman movie and possibly being Aquaman. Momoa wasn’t thrilled about the question posed at a comic con event, as his response was, “What does everything tell you? No. Stop asking me. It’s so annoying. Sorry, you’re not annoying.” – If you ask me that’s a do NOT ask Drogo tone on any freakin’ Batman rumor questions. He quickly realized the person posing the question was press, “Oh you’re the press? Get the f*** out of here. Here, put this in there — you’re a d***, you’re a d***.” The whole crowd started laughing at his singsongy statement and a good time was had. “You’re not a d***, I’m just playing.”

Rumor is indeed fact! All that bellowing display of I am not Drogo turned out to be true. We’re pretty sure that Mamoa was sworn to secrecy but it turns out that Aquaman (if that is even the official name they use in the film) but it turns out that the comic character will have a small part  and most likely to set himself up for a bigger role in Zach Synder’s Justice League.”

With no official confirmation from Warner Bros. and Jason Mamoa  not wanting to answer the question direct, it will be quite entertaining to see if the rumor has officially expelled and we’ll be watching Momoa on the big screen next year.

And yes, we think Jason Mamoa would make the prefect Aquaman.
