INCREASE’S WARPATH CONTINUES, IN A NEW EPISODE OF WGN AMERICA’S “SALEM”

WGN America released the official synopsis and still images for Salem‘s newest episode “Cat and Mouse.” Increase’s accusations towards John continue to wreck havoc in Salem, as Cotton questions his loyalties and Mary tries to free him without revealing herself. Meanwhile, Anne discovers something about her father she might rather have left buried. Episode 1×11 was written by Jon Feldman and directed by Tricia Brock.

Official Synopsis:

“Cat and Mouse” –  Increase’s warpath continues as Alden finds himself the target of fresh accusations – and at the mercy of the Selectmen, thanks to a surprise move by a healthier George Sibley – leading Mary to hatch a desperate plan to save him.  Cotton finds himself frozen in a tug of war between his father and his loyalty to Alden.  Meanwhile, Anne learns the truth about her father.

“Salem” stars Janet Montgomery as Mary Sibley, Shane West as John Alden, Seth Gabel as Cotton Mather, Xander Berkeley as Magistrate Hale, Ashley Madekwe as Tituba, Tamzin Merchant as Anne Hale, Elise Eberle as Mercy Lewis and Iddo Goldberg as Isaac Walton. Guest starring are Stephen Lang (“Avatar”) as Increase Mather, Lucy Faust as Elizabeth, Mary Catherine O’Donnell as Emily and Aiden Flowers as Young Hale.

“Salem” is co-created and written by Brannon Braga and Adam Simon, who serve as executive producers alongside Jeff Kwatinetz and Josh Barry of Prospect Park and David Von Ancken.  The series is produced by Fox 21.
