Wolf Pack, Rejoice! Space Channel Orders A Second Season of Original Series “Bitten”

After what feels like the longest wait ever, Space Channel have finally confirmed that they have now ordered a second season of “Bitten“: their brilliant smash Original Series, which can also be seen on Syfy. After a brilliant debut season – where the show went toe to toe with, and then on occasion even beat, Space’s other hit offering “Orphan Black” reaching 5 million viewers to become Space most watched originals series – today’s announcement will come as a great relief for both fans and show runners alike, after what seemed like an almost too lengthy time without news regarding the show’s ultimate renewal.

Whilst production begins later this summer in Toronto, Hamilton and Hespeler here’s what Phil King, President – CTV; J.B Sugar, Executive Producer, No Equal Entertainment and Margaret O’Brien, President (Canada), Entertainment One Television have to say about it’s renewal.

BITTEN has been such an exciting addition to Space,” said Phil King, President – CTV, Sports, and Entertainment Programming. “When we signed on for Season 1 we knew it was a unique series and when fans and critics agreed with us, we knew we had a hit. Here’s to another season of making great television with our terrific production partners.”

BITTEN has been such a rewarding and collaborative experience,” said J.B Sugar, Executive Producer, No Equal Entertainment. “We are looking forward to producing another fantastic season with partners at Bell Media, Entertainment One Television, and Hoodwink. The Pack is so ready and thankful for the opportunity to run again!”

“We’re thrilled to be a part of the killer team bringing another season of BITTEN to the fans,” said Margaret O’Brien, President (Canada), Entertainment One Television. “This action-packed series has resonated extremely well with viewers and across social media. We look forward to building upon the success and excitement established in Season 1.”

But fear no more, Wolfpack: Elena and Co. will be returning to your screens in the not too distant future, and after the brilliantly badass season finale (let’s face it – it felt like Philip wasn’t the only one who lost his head over it) we now have heaps to be excited about as we look forward to the next chapter of this enthralling story.

Though fans might be disappointed in lead actor Greyston Holt as Clay Danvers unique way in which he campaigned to #RenewBitten. The Pack can catch encore episodes Sundays at 11 p.m. ET on Space.
