The Blacklist: ‘Let’s Do It Again’ at Comic Con Poster Revealed
Raymond “Red” Reddington our favorite criminal on The Blacklist is headed to San Diego Comic Con.
The Blacklist unveils its comic con poster captioned, “That was fun. Let’s do it again.” Since season two was announced fans have been clamoring for the shows return and answers to its most sought out questions. Is Tome Keene alive and is Red the father to Liz? – Whether fans get the answers they want it’s sure to be a fun-filled time during the shows Comic-Con panel on Saturday, July 26 at 1:45 p.m. in room 6A with participating executive producers Jon Bokenkamp, John Eisendrath and James Spader is sure to be the highlight of the event.
“That was fun. Let’s do it again.”
Last year comic-con we sat down and talked to Megan Boone about her character ‘Elizabeth’s darkness and how the pilot was a “lightning in a bottle.”’ It certainly became an immediate hit for us here at TVAD, however, we didn’t realize just how invested we would be as Diego Klattenhoff who plays Donald Ressler excitedly informed us in our interview with him.
“I think the mystery behind the show [will keep viewers invested] – of who is this man, who are the cases and why – who is Reddington? Who is Elizabeth Keen? What’s their relationship, what’s the background?” ~ Diego Klattenhoff
Check out last year’s cool mystery promotion totally makes sense now we’ve experienced season one. Wonder what will they have this time around.
The Premise: For decades, ex-government agent Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) has been one of the FBI’s Most Wanted fugitives. Brokering shadowy deals for criminals across the globe, Red was known by many as “The Concierge of Crime.” Now, he’s mysteriously surrendered to the FBI with an explosive offer: He will help catch a long-thought-dead terrorist, Ranko Zamani, under the condition that he speaks only to Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone), an FBI profiler fresh out of Quantico. For Liz, it’s going to be one hell of a first day on the job. What follows is a twisting series of events as the race to stop a terrorist begins. What are Red’s true intentions? Why has he chosen Liz, a woman with whom he seemingly has no connection? Does Liz have secrets of her own? Zamani is only the first of many on a list that Red has compiled over the years: a “blacklist” of politicians, mobsters, spies and international terrorists. He will help catch them all… with the caveat that Liz continues to work as his partner. Red will teach Liz to think like a criminal and “see the bigger picture”… whether she wants to or not.
