The Originals Cast Talk Season 2 at Comic Con (Videos)
The CW’s hit supernatural drama, The Originals returned to San Diego for a second year to appear at the annual International Comic Con. Cast members that appeared this year at the annual celebration included, Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Daniel Gillies (Elijah),Charles Michael Davis (Marcel), Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), Leah Pipes (Cami) and Danielle Campbell (Davina). Before appearing their scheduled Q&A panel Friday afternoon, the cast met with interviewers and media outlets dying to chat about the highly anticipated second season of the show. In the videos below from TV Equals, Daniel, Joseph, Charles and Leah dish on the new season premiering this Fall.
In the first video below, Daniel Gillies talks about where season two picks up with things between Klaus, Hayley and Elijah. He also explains Elijah’s need for revenge. He also plays very coy when asked about any upcoming romance between Hayley and Elijah and more.
Joseph Morgan teases that they have already filmed three episodes of The Originals and cannot remember anything from shooting because the cast has had a break since filming them. He shares season two will explore their relationship with the original parents a lot more. Joseph also reveals we will finally find out which brother came back in the season one finale with Esther and more.
In the next video below, Charles Michael Davis dishes on Marcel experiencing somewhat of a culture shock as far as going from controlling the city to having to rebuild in a sense. He also talks about the differences between working on Grey;s Anatomy and working on The Originals.
Lastly in the clip below, Leah Pipes describes where we’ll find Cami when the series returns stating she tries to distance herself from the supernatural world in New Orleans. She teases that she believes Cami will get drawn back into that world. Leah also explains Cami’s soft spot for Klaus and her need to help him.
The Originals Season 2 Premieres Monday, October 6th at 8/9c. on the CW.
