The Vampire Diaries EW 1The TVD Cast Dishes on Season Six

The Vampire Diaries returned to San Diego for a sixth year to appear at the annual International Comic Con. Cast members appearing this year at the annual celebration of pop-culture included TVD stars;, Ian Somerhalder (Damon), Paul Wesley (Stefan), Nina Dobrev (Elena),Kat Graham (Bonnie) and Matt Davis (Alaric).. Saturday afternoon before appearing at their scheduled Q&A panel,the cast met with interviewers and media dying to chat about the highly anticipated sixth season of the show. In the videos below from TV Addict, Ian, and Paul  dish on the new season premiering this Fall.

In the video clip below, Ian Somerhalder chats about his foundation, The Ian Somerhalder Foundation or ISF. He confesses how it would be great if Damon would go green and start an ISF Community Crew in Mystic Falls. He also dishes on Damon and Bonnie spending so much time together in season six, sharing there is a fine line between love and hate and more.

Below, Paul previews where we’ll find Stefan in the first few episodes of the six season, describing him as disconnected. He reveals he will be directing another TVD episode this season and says it will most likely be mid-season. He also talks about playing Silas, Caroline and more.

In the clip below, Matt Davis shares how it feels to be back on TVD after spending two seasons away. He confesses how the cast and him have all grown and matured and thinks season six will be the best season yet.  He also talks about how it felt being away from the show, filming the 100th episode and much more.

TVD’s executive producer and writer, Julie Plec shares the options to cure vampirism have become very limited and reveals the show is done with the ‘other side.’ She confesses last year was the ‘Year of the Doppelganger” and reveals all the work needed from both the cast and crew for the story lines. Julie also chats about the sixth season reverting back to what people loved about the series first two seasons and much more.
